Author Guidelines

The Heylaw Journal of Law, Economic and Technology accepts original and high-quality manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are requested to follow these guidelines carefully before submitting a manuscript.

1. Scope and Focus

The journal publishes scholarly works related to law, economics, and technology, including but not limited to:

  • Legal Technology and Innovation
  • Intellectual Property in the Digital Age
  • Data Protection and Privacy Law
  • Fintech and E-Commerce Regulation
  • Artificial Intelligence and Legal Ethics

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

3. Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or RTF.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt.
  • Spacing: Double-spaced.
  • Paper size: A4 with standard margins.
  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words (including references).

5. Citation and References

Authors must use APA 7th edition style for in-text citations and references. All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list.

6. Ethical Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism.
  • All authors must have significantly contributed to the work.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be clearly stated.
  • Research involving human subjects must follow ethical standards.

7. Peer Review Process

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process and reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

8. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal website. Authors must register and log in before making a submission.

9. Copyright and Open Access

All published articles are made available under an open-access policy. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
