Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check the compliance of their submission with all of the following items. Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors.
  • The submission has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document format.
  • Where available, URLs for references have been provided.
  • The text is double-spaced, uses a 12-point font, employs italics rather than underlining (except for URLs), and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in the About the Journal section.
  • If the submission is made to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
Important Notice:
Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for revision prior to peer review.
